UWFK's Community Investment grant process includes community volunteers and UWFK staff and board members visiting all agencies applying for funding.
Highlights of this year's week-long process include:
- 28 non-profit agencies
- 40 program applications
- 2 staff
- 33 volunteers
- 1- 15 passenger van traveling 438 miles

Our nonprofit partners also once again impressed the volunteers with the great work we saw from so many wonderful programs here in the Keys.
We rely on community members to help with this step in the funding application process- reviewing, visiting and evaluating applications as we believe what is raised in the Keys, stays in the Keys and this is a decision made by the community, for the community.
We are proud to support Keys residents through the annual Community Investment funding to local nonprofits and couldn't do this without our hard-working volunteers!
