UWFK Seeks Volunteers for Community Investment Site Visits

United Way of Florida Keys would like to invite you to be a part of our annual nonprofit Community Investment funding process as a site visit volunteer in April.  Every year, a group of community-minded volunteers visit nonprofit agencies that have applied for funding from UWFK for the upcoming fiscal year.  This year, our site visits will be held April 16-20.   We would love to have a few more volunteers to help on one (or more) of those site visit days.

This experience is a great way to learn about the specific programs and challenges of our nonprofit partners. It also helps UWFK, as we ask our volunteers to score the organizations at the end of the day to see if they meet the criteria for the requested funding. The process is especially important this year as we have allocated additional funds with a focus on helping those negatively impacted by Hurricane Irma.

If you are interested in volunteering to help with a site visit day, please fill out the online Volunteer Registration form. Below the login area, click on the link to Create an E-Cimpact Account.  You will need to provide your contact details, answer 3 brief questions and create a username and password to register as a volunteer.

Feel free to call us at 305-735-1929 or email us if you have further questions.
