United Way Announces Three Funding Opportunities
for Non-Profits
It’s that
time of year, when eligible non-profit organizations throughout the Keys can
apply to get donor dollars for their agencies.
“It’s everyone’s responsibility to help make
our community a better place, said Margie Smith, president of the United Way of
the Florida Keys. “Please encourage your
friends at non-profits to see if they qualify to participate in the campaigns
for state and federal employees, as well as local United Way funding. We are
pleased to announce that the United Way plans to increase funding to agencies
by 20% this year.”
United Way of the Florida Keys
Funding for 2013-14 is available for

hungry, and/or focusing on making life better for children. The United Way board
