Friday, February 26th, United Way of the Florida Keys was the nonprofit recipient of all tips at the BottleCap on Simonton Street in Key West. The BottleCap has been inviting nonprofit organizations in the community to benefit from Blue Room tips since 2007.
For UWFK’s nonprofit Friday night, Community members were invited out to enjoy a 50/50 raffle, guest bartenders, and a homemade cake raffle with additional special prizes!
Staff, board members, and community partners attended to show their support. Guest bartenders included: Mayor Heather Carruthers, Catherine Vogel, Trish Docherty Gibson, Kevin Madok, Jessica Cranney, and Jill Cranney-Gage. All tips benefitted UWFK’s food, education, and safety net programs.
