Thursday, March 24th from 6-9pm, UWFK was the featured nonprofit at the “Mystics and Maestros” fundraiser at the Patio Bar in Key West. It was the Patio Bar’s (part of the Southernmost Inn on United Street) third “Mystics and Maestros” fundraiser. The event was designed to support charities as well as to bring attention to the work of local artists.
The fundraiser included artwork by painters Kattie Sottak and Erica Hunter, as well as glass works by artist Thys, and photography from Mark Hruban and Gian Carlo. The featured musicians were Anthony Picone and Tony Roberts.

Patrons received a free drink by bringing one of the following for donation: a pack of diapers, formula, a baby bottle, or toiletries such as toilet paper. The items will be distributed to UWFK nonprofit partner agencies that serve infants and young children. Profits from the event’s silent auction supported UWFK’s food, education, and safety net service programs.

Thank you to everyone who attended the fundraiser and to the staff at Mystics and Maestros for providing UWFK with this opportunity!
