The 2020-21 Community Investment Funding Application

United Way of the Florida Keys is currently reviewing applications for the 2020-21 Community Investment funding cycle.  Due to the generosity of UWFK donors, $175,000 in grant funding is available to support programs serving Monroe County residents. 

Here is all the information that you’ll need as you consider applying for funding:

  • UWFK hosted two community meetings on Wednesday, January 29, for new applicants, previous partners and any member of the public interested in more information about the community investment process or how UWFK serves Monroe County.  Changes to the application process will also be discussed.  All applicants are strongly encouraged to attend this year’s meeting, bringing both agency executives as well as grant writers.

    • Lower Keys:  Wednesday, January 29, 9:30-10:30 am at the Bernstein Park Community Room on Stock Island (6751 5th Street)

    • Middle and Upper Keys:  Wednesday, January 29, 1:00-2:00 pm at the Marathon Public Library (3251 Overseas Hwy) 

  • The grant application period was January 6 to Thursday, February 13, 2020, at 5 pm EST.

  • Details and instructions regarding the Community Investment funding process can be found in the Guidelines for 2020-21 Community Investment Funding document or within the online grant portal, in the Resource Center.  

Applications are now closed.  Current applicants can use the following as an ongoing resource:

  • The e-CImpact online grant portal(Helpful Tip: bookmark this page before continuing). The online Resource Center has a manual about using the e-CImpact portal.

  • If your agency is new to the online grant portal:

  1. Select ‘Click here to create a new e-CImpact account’
  2. Enter your organization’s EIN, and Continue.  
  3. Answer the qualification questions, and Continue.  Please contact us if you answered No to any of these questions and are still interested in applying. 
  4. Update any missing or inaccurate account information, create a preferred username and password, and Continue.
  5. Review the details you submitted, and Complete Registration.
  6. You will arrive at the Home page for your application. From there, follow the instructions below.  You will be able to print your application while you are working on it, as well as after it has been submitted.  
  7. From that point on, you will simply log in using the same link and the 'Sign-In to our Secure Server' button with the credentials you created.
  • If you have used the online grant portal for previous applications or reports:

    1. Select 'Sign-In to our Secure Server' and use your previously created credentials.  If you do not remember your login credentials, contact Rebecca for your username and a temporary password
    2. On your portal home page, select the ‘Click Here to Get Started' button under the Community Investment - 2020-21.
